Which nonprofits can I support?

We have 250+ nonprofits in our database across broad categories including animal welfare, arts & culture, community services, disabilities, disease research, environmental, humanitarian and more. If there is one you want to support, contact us at suppport@giv.co to request one that isn't yet on our platform.

Who makes the donation?

The business or person who wants the meeting makes a payment and is credited with making the donation.

Who choses the nonprofit?

The sales lead, expert, or investor who is in-demand generally chooses the nonprofit.

Who gets the tax deduction?

The business making payments gets credit for the deduction. Salespeople who facilitate meetings and leads who choose nonprofits are not eligible for the deductions.

How should Giv donations and meeting fees classified in my financials?

Will I receive a receipt for my donation? 

Yes, you will receive confirmation over email after the payment is processed that serves as your receipt.

What happens to my donation payment?

Your donation will be sent to each 501(c)(3) within 90 days less standard credit card, ACH or other processing fees.

Is Giv ethical?

Yes. Thousands of digital platforms and service agencies use incentives such as physical gifts, digital gift cards, events, and experiences to increase the chances of securing sales meetings with prospective clients In each of those cases, the prospect directly benefits.  In contrast, Giv donations directly benefit nonprofits making the reason for meeting both ethical and altruistic. How can I easily avoid conflicts of interest when using Giv?

As a salesperson, do not offer your contacts nonprofits to choose from that directly benefit from any business you may potentially do in the future as a result of the Giv meeting. Contact us at support@giv.co to have any nonprofits removed from your account that may pose a conflict of interest in your industry or business model.  

For a business leader who accepts a meeting invitation and chooses a nonprofit, is there an expectation for buying product or services from the meeting requestor?

Absolutely not. Salespeople use Giv to get the attention of hard to meet business leaders and decision makers. It is their job to determine how qualified their contacts are as prospective buyers.
100% of donations less processing fees are sent to selected nonprofits.  

We charge fees to businesses that we spend on acquiring users which maximize donations.
